Reimbursement of medical costs

When your health insurance file is OK, you will be refunded a percentage of your health care costs. Each time you visit a doctor (or dentist or other recognized practioner), he/she will issue you an official receipt called an 'attestation de soins données/getuigschrift voor verstrekte hulp' stating your name, the date of the visit, the code(s) for the treatment provided and the amount paid.

In order to receive a reimbursement, please drop off your medical claims (getuigschrift voor verstrekte hulp) at your local Partena office or mail them to:
Expats & Business Department, Coupure Links 103 in 9000 Gent.

We will reimburse your account within 5-10 days. You can check your reimbursements on our Online Office

Medical receipts may only be reimbursed for up to two years, starting from the month when they were issued.

For example: treatment provided on 1/25/2009 may be claimed for reimbursement until no later than 1/31/2011).
